His parents, Peter and Elsie lived in 1901 at 71, High Street, Rothes. Peter also in 1901 was a shop assistant and he gave his occupation as a grocer aged 18 when leaving for Canada. This could be a connection with the lovey gesture of who is leaving the posies on these graves. <br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04714515029271212892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341202594941781572.post-58970887449321794252013-12-31T15:16:07.279+00:002013-12-31T15:16:07.279+00:00What an interesting and very touching post. So often we forget that not all died in battle but were serving the war effort in many other capacities. Whoever takes such good care of these three graves have my heartfelt thanks. Thank you so much for sharing....Diane Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341202594941781572.post-74010241734510675862013-12-30T14:01:09.345+00:002013-12-30T14:01:09.345+00:00Thanks for helping to remember them. Thanks for helping to remember them.Marchelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201825708442679157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341202594941781572.post-33049139909195241532013-12-30T12:31:39.661+00:002013-12-30T12:31:39.661+00:00How lovely that they are not forgotten.
