Wordless Wednesday is here.

  1. I'm assuming you took this from a bus - great capture!

I hope your son has a great time out in the Wild West when he gets here ;) Personally I'm dreading next week, I want to keep my nice quiet calm campus!! (that's probably the age talking!)

  2. Is this Princes Street? The one thing I appreciated my first few weeks in Scotland were the road details telling me which way to look. It seems silly, but I just could not wrap my mind around it! :) What I don't miss is all of the construction... blah.

  3. Well named! Were you on a bus when you took that? And is Princes Street still dug up?

I'm way behind with visits and my own posts, life getting in the way of blogging just now.

Loved that shot of the deer on the golf course!

  4. I ♥ this too. I keep thinking if those words mean something here. Look, priority changed ahead. If everything has a meaning and is not just accidental.

  5. All she needs to be doing now is dancing reel and/or eating a haggis!

  6. I took this shot from the top deck of a No. 11 bus, along the side of St Andrew's Square. Princes Street is very much still dug up - buses are being routed along George Street.

Chrome3d has made a very profound point. I thought that too when I saw I'd included the priority sign in the shot. I took it to mean that people are more openly proud of being Scottish now. Not that this is a political view of mine - it's just a feeling in the air.

  7. Great words on Wordless Wednsdy!
    I like the tartan too.

Did you find out how your friends in La Canada are doing? Even without the threat of fires, being so close to all the smoke must of been really hard. (I only experienced that for a few hours out in the desert.)

  8. I know if I could visit Scotland that I would love it too. For now I'm worshipping from afar.
