Cloudspotting

I've got a crick in my neck from cloudspotting all week, trying to tell my nimbostratus from my cumulonimbus, and my stratocumulus undulatus from my stratocumulus radiatus.

  1. What a fabulous book! I would love to do some cloudspotting, alas it has been a grey haze most days here recently. If you want to do some serious cloudspotting, visit the Prairies of Saskatchewan and the great plains of Oklahoma, both have some fantastic clouds. Sigh, I miss the clouds...

  4. We have storm spotters here in Iowa. They are busy looking for tornadoes. I think cloud spotting to be a little safer. One could get a crook in the neck so you need to just lay down on the grass and look up.

  5. Find a dry spot on the ground(ha!) or a picnic table on a good cloud day....no neck cricking!

P.S. The book looks like a must have.
