Skywatch Friday - breezy summer
It IS windier than it used to be. I don't remember from my childhood the constant winds that now blow through our summers. And I was outside then far more than I am now ("Mum, I'm bored." "Go outside and play."). Climate change? I don't know, but it does make for good clouds. The River Spey last week, with mares' tails streaming up over the edge of the world and just touching the peak of Ben Rinnes.
More skies from around the world are at Skywatch Friday.
Beautiful!

Wonderful shot Linda. I saw the face in the clouds that Beth mentioned. I agree, it certainly is windier these days. We live on top of a hill and catch the wind from all directions.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely sky! ♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. I love that sky.
ReplyDeletesweet capture.
ReplyDeleteWe get lots of wind too. What gorgeous scenery!
ReplyDeleteThe sky looks like it just goes on forever.
ReplyDeleteI love these beautiful expansive cloud formations. Our winds have also been more regular and consistant. When it is warm they are wonderful, when it is cold they can go right through you but they do keep the drat bugs away!
ReplyDeleteGreat photograph! Have a wonderful week.
