Ah, I remember the adverts for functions like this very well. I miss the meadows, too, and George Square (even with its hideous buildings - is the library finally completed?) and so much more. I can't wait to get back!
We used to advertise at McGill University in Montreal that way and it was far more effective than putting up another poster among the THOUSANDS of posters that were already up!!! Unless, of course, it rained...
Nice. We do "chalking" at my university too. Clubs and organizations chalk the sidewalks and stairs all around campus trying to get attention for events.

ReplyDeleteVery creative! Made me smile!
ReplyDeleteVery green of them! Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautifully done and won't stay on the wall for months and months getting all tatty like a poster would.
ReplyDeleteThe wall makes for an interesting billboard. And saves the cost of printing up posters too!
