I saw this and it rang a bell as Gail had sent me a picture of something very similar from outside St Giles Cathedral back in March. It was "Double double toil and trouble" in big white letters standing on a box. Both quotes are from MacBeth and they were to promote an exhibition called Beyond Macbeth which was in the National Library of Scotland at the time.
