Skywatch Friday - just another Speyside sunset


Two minutes from my Dad's house, through fields of ripening barley, we have this sunset.  I would swap the whole Edinburgh International Festival which will have descended on the city by the time we get home, for one of these.

      It was a beautiful evening in every respect - warm for Scotland - and the colours were just the finishing touch.

      One of the advantages of Glasgow will be that you don't have the Edinburgh Festival in your city. Am I a grump or what?

    Not bad, is it?! We had a very watery, subdued sunset tonight. Rain on the way overnight.
