  2. Thanks for the photos - it's nice to see where Bertie lives. And it's reminded me that I bought one of his Mama Ramotswe books yesterday...

  3. I came to your blog page from the Skywatch Friday site. There are a lot of Skywatchers to choose from! I chose you because we share the same first name.

When your blog page opened and I saw the rainbow, I thought to myself "how pretty".

My husband and I saw a rainbow during our Thanksgiving Day holiday. We were traveling east from our home to visit my husband's sister for the holiday. A rainbow followed us for an hour while we raced down the highway. I took a picture of the rainbow while in the car. If you would like to see that picture, you may do so by entering "rainbow" in the SEARCH THIS BLOG widget on the left-hand side of my blog page. This widget is the second search widget, NOT the first one! Two rainbow pictures come up in the search.

  4. What a great shot--it really does make one want to take off down the street to see where the rainbow ends.

Thanks for posting on Skywatch Friday. As a fan of John Muir and someone of sturdy Scots stock, I was glad to find your blog.

  13. I love the skywatch photo! And oh... my heart cries. I so much miss Edinburgh when I see this photo. I guess it must be from New town? At least it reminds me of that area, where I lived for a few days while on holiday a couple of years ago.

(But I'll be back! August 2010.)
