Skywatch Friday
A dramatic sunset at the end of a perfect spring day on Speyside. The two man-made silhouettes are a whisky distillery chimney at the left, and an electricity pole sort of thing (the technical name of which I obviously don't know) towards the right.
Other skies around the world are at Skywatch Friday.
Very dramatic!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours you have here. The dark cloud serves to emphasise the wonderful oranges.

ReplyDeleteLinda: We've already commented on this delightful assortment of clouds. Now, we wonder, is everyone in Scotland still talking about native daughter: Susan Boyle? She sure seemed to put her wee village on the map!
ReplyDeleteSuch dramatic skies! Looks like rain's on it's way.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Thanks for the comments - I appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to Greensboro Daily Photo's question about Susan Boyle, I have to admit that I've been rather cut off from mainstream life over the past week, but the Susan Boyle phenomenon is still pretty inescapable.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderfully dark and menacing with fire coloured edges. makes me think of the frase: "Hell hath no fury ..."
Should be featured in some fantasy film as a sky over a particularly evil place.
