12 kuvaa/photos - my walk to work November


8.15 a.m. and all is grey. A few lights show high up in Edinburgh Castle.

The contrast with October at around the same time in the morning brings home just how much the light is waning.

The 12 kuvaa/photos site has month-by-month contrasts.

At other places on my walk to work it's the essence of November.


Graffiti has struck again at Warriston Cemetery. There's graffiti art, but this is definitely not it.

    Dark when I get up, dark stealing dow before the days seems halfway through - definitely my least favourite months.

    Very good idea! May be a better walk in summer but you are lucky , I have to drive 50 miles to go to my office... I envy you ;)

    I absolutely LOVE the picture of your walk to work in November! I LOVE those kinds of mornings when the sun isnt quit up yet, its gray and everything is wet and smells of Fall! So envious of your morning walk to work! Spectacular!

    Same here Linda...I actually think we are at about the same latitude. Intense gray skies, record rains and diminshing daylight. The urge to hibernate is strong!

    Dear Linda,
    This view is nice to follow,
    lights are so warm and yellow.
    Even weather is wet and grey,
    the photo is fine, I say :)
