My daughter's school finished for the year on Friday. The school pipe band is an essential part of prizegiving day. Holidays, sunshine and pipes and drums. What more could you want?
Now THAT is something schools here in Montreal are missing, pipe bands!!! I would love to hear one of those, but very rarely do I get to...unless I decide to freeze my butt off at the St-Patrick's Day Parade in March lol
So very different from anything we might see in at a school in the U.S. Thank you, as always, for these glimpses into your life.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful sight. I am sure the daughter is glad the school is out. I like the plaid.

How fun!!! I love pipe bands!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a pipe and drums band, although I've heard them on CD. It looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear the pipe band, what a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term.
ReplyDeleteGood wishes to your Dad! He will be very happy to get home for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove the harl.
Wow! That is a lot of pipers!
ReplyDeleteI bet that must have been a very nice day. :)
Just a week now, and I'll be walking the streets of Edinburgh again. I can't wait to show my son the beautiful city. :)
