Skywatch Friday - Ben Lawers

A gloomy Ben Lawers overlooking Loch Tay. Photo taken by my daughter a couple of weekends ago on the annual family watersports trip.

More skies around the world are at Skywatch Friday.

  2. Hi Linda, Linda is a popular name... I have SIX other Lindas on my followers list... BUT--you are the first from Scotland. Thanks for coming to my blog. Come back anytime...

I am enjoying yours --especially since some of my ancestors came from Scotland...

Love that SKY picture --but the water and mountains 'make' it...

    Thanks again for stopping by.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  3. It's so beautiful to see so much water in one place. When they flood the pecan orchards around our house I so enjoy taking photos of the reflections--making do with what I've got, here in the desert.

Thank you for your lovely photos, as always.

  4. Hi Linda, thanks for visiting my blog & leaving a comment! :) You've got some beautiful county here. I haven't had much of a chance to travel outside the states, so it's fun to check out other landscapes & cultures through blogs like yours.
    Have a nice weekend!
    :)

  6. You seem to have a lot of sky in Scotland! Great pic. Loved seeing all the kilts yesterday - does everyone look good in a kilt?

  10. I love the clouds and the blue sky reflected in the loch. My only visit to Scotland, with nine other members of my family, was sadly lacking in lochs. I must come back, because my heart is there.

  11. I can look at this for a long time. So lovely. And the annual family watersport trip sounds like so much fun. Where do you stay?

BTW - I'll be in England for a business trip from Oct. 16th to Oct. 22nd. I looked into visiting Scotland and decided it would be too hectic. But I did wish to.
We'll be in London for 1/2 a day, than off to Brize Norton (and a look at Oxford) and then to MoD down by Salisbury and Stone Henge. I am getting very excited ... and will have fun, come rain or come shine :)

  13. Gloomy, but gorgeous. I'd give a lot to see some of those clouds in my part of the world, we've hardly seen a cloud in six weeks.
