Happy Snow Day
While our first proper snowfall of the winter has adults grumbling as they slip and slide along pavements, or find their cars executing slow-motion spins on glassy roads, children know how to enjoy a day of snow. I had to be at my children's school at one point today, where I found this evidence of a well-spent morning, complete with regulation school tie. The age of the 'children' who had frolicked about making Mr Snowman? Eighteen. Males of the species, needless to say...
I have yet to see a snowman from todays downfall. They did make quite a good job of this snowman.
ReplyDeleteI have taken a snow day today only venturing out to get photos for blog.
Who said that you can't have fun at school? It's probably the most meaningful and educational thing they did this week ;-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful snowman ! i still enjoy making snowmen or women ;)thanks for your comment :)
ReplyDeleteOh! snowman with tie.
ReplyDeleteIf it is snow, children and dogs are always delightful.
Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Gotta love the traffic cone hat! That is a great snowman!
ReplyDeleteHey Fantastic! We love to share!!
ReplyDeleteNice original hat!!
ReplyDeleteWe are having some more light snow here in Maryland today.
Yes, the hat does complete the look ;-)
ReplyDeleteArgh... the slow motion spins! I don't like driving at this time of year - had a bad one of those on the motorway a few years ago. Stay safe on the roads :-D
Who said that there's no snow this winter in scotland? ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this guy. As they say, snowmen fall from heaven - one flake at a time.
ReplyDeleteReal snow for you....excellent!
ReplyDeleteNice to see he has some Glasgow headgear! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe had a bit of snow, but it didn't last very long.
One of the best snowmen I've seen so far. :) I haven't made a snowman in years... I think the snow we've got here now is too dry, but when it gets warmer, we should go outside and make one. :)
