Skywatch Friday - show it like it is

After two weeks of indian summer, autumn set in today with lowering skies and drizzle. Arthur's Seat disappears into the mist at the left of the shot, while the monuments on Calton Hill look as unexciting as the tenement flats in the foreground.

It was a bit of a relief, actually. This is real.

Other skies, some of them blue, at Skywatch Friday.

But you are right, show it like it is, all of nature's sides are beautiful and should be appreciated!

  4. Ahh, that is the one thing I do not miss: the constant drizzle and haze. Occasionally I adored it, especially when out for a walk in dire need of clearing my head, but other times it was just awful... :)

  6. This is an amazing photo. So much history in all of the buildings in that picture. Our country is so young compared to yours and our buildings don't have many stories to tell.
